Meraki Portfolio Consultancy is a unique, holistic and progressive centre for design education, based in Vadodara India. We at Meraki Portfolio Consultancy aim at fostering techniques to provide opportunities for aspiring architects & designers to gain admission in mainstream architecture and design education at leading colleges and institutions across the globe.
Over the last 12 years of experience, Meraki has evolved from a conventional coaching class to an exceptional, thriving centre for interdisciplinary preparation required to excel in design education. Our methods evolve from a keen understanding of current requirements of architecture and design education, formulated by highly-qualified and enthusiastic faculty, as well as a detailed analysis of market trends. Confidently hands-on as well as theoretically sound, our modes of instruction range from a mix of uniquely experimental to time-tested and successful, currently placing us at the cutting-edge of design entrance preparation. With a focus on both practical as well as theoretical knowledge bases, the curriculum at Meraki Portfolio Consultancy is personalised and tailor-made for each aspiring design learner.
We work with an aim to provide the best-fit education in art, architecture and design for each student, with a clear view of their inherent and acquired skill-sets, abilities and interests. Apart from rigorous exercise modules, discussion sessions and activities within the classroom, we continuously engage with experts for workshops, interaction sessions and outdoor sketching trips.
We are proud to introduce our students to the city of Vadodara through an artist’s and designer’s eye through workshops, camps and educational walks, before they begin their own journeys as learners and professionals. Being architects and designers ourselves, we understand the value of the eye, the hand and the heart working in synergy, and we strive to provide a nurturing environment for our students to achieve the same.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Ar Priyank Shah

Founder of Meraki Portfolio Consultancy (previously known as Design Infinium)
With a keen passion for teaching and exploring the broader paradigm of architecture and design, MPC was founded in the year 2008.
Since then Priyank has been at the helm of imparting quality education to the students for various entrance exams. Not just limiting to the exam curriculm, he invited a number of architects, artists and other creative professionals to conduct classes for the students.
Priyank Shah is also the founding member of Meraki Design Studio which is an interdisciplainary studio and majorly work on Urban design projects.
Apart from this, Priyank Shah has been a visiting faculty, juror and mentor at several architecture colleges.

MEET THE TEAM
Niharika Joshi
Niharika is an architect and writer, with a Masters in Interior Architecture and Design from CEPT University. Through her research thesis on interior design education, Niharika's understanding of the subject was enhanced. An interest in education and research has led her to work as a teacher at SEDA NUV, and closely examine and question design pedagogy.
Apart from her leanings towards the academic world, she engages with architecture and interior design through freelance design and writing practice.
Purvi Mistry
PURVI MISTRY is an Artist, she’s pursuing her master in fine arts
from faculty of fine arts in, MS University, Baroda. Her
education in fine arts helps her to enhance the ability to understand
the subject ideally.
Apart from her learning with academic world, she engages with
MERAKI portfolio consultancy.
Zeel Shah
Zeel completed her undergraduate studies from SVIT -Vasad , Gujarat and further perceived post graduation in Digital Architecture (DA) because of keen interest in generative design methodologies involving computational techniques and material sciences from BNCA-Pune, Maharashtra.
The academic exposure during her masters made her interested in looped data transitions between analogue,digital and simulation experiments extensively done through softwares.

Yash Desai
Ruchir is a Visual Artist and Illustrator. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S.U, Baroda. He has recently worked on SCERT Textbook redesigning project for Sikkim Govt. The purpose was to provide a better education to the children of Sikkim. His interest in academic and teaching and a strong command over visual language made him a part of Meraki Portfolio Consultancy.
Pavana is an Architect and a designer. She is a graduate of I.E.D, Vallabh Vidhyanagar. She is the co-founder of Meraki Design Studio, a multi-disciplinary design studio based in Vadodara. She is interested in providing education through Workshops and alternate mediums that schools with conventional mindsets can't offer. Pavana has been instrumental in making the students competent enough to be qualified for various art & design courses in India and abroad at Meraki Portfolio Consultancy
Yash is working as an Artist & a designer. With M.V.A. in print making from the faculty of finearts, M.S.U. Baroda, Yash is an awarding winning artist currently experimenting with early photographic printmaking process of 19th centre and other printmaking processes. His passion to spread his knowledge of art through teaching and workshops made him a part of Meraki Portfolio Consultancy
